We have had some lovely comments from parents and visitors, as you can see below.
Just amazed! We just watched the last video on the list about using lines for tens and dots for singles when adding up 2 digit numbers. She got it straight away and finds it an easy way for adding up. Even when the numbers went into the next tens, e.g 27+35, she just does the process twice and gets the right answer.
I can't thank you enough for showing us this technique. She really enjoys doing it as well.
We will look into doing the others as well but this one works for her so I hope it'll be used in class as well to allow her to carry on with it.

There are many opportunities for parental engagement. We receive invitations to attend church services/special assemblies/school productions/performances. We have regular parents’ consultations and are always able to email the class teacher if we have concerns/questions. There are several ‘committees’/working groups that parents are invited to join.

We are very proud of our son’s achievements this year, he has worked hard and has persevered in the areas he found tricky. He has really enjoyed his first year of school and we are all grateful for the excellent care and support provided by Miss Swift, Lucy and Gemma.
