Dear Penguins,

I hope you are all staying well and still enjoying your learning at home. I am very much looking forward to seeing more of you in school soon and will be phoning you this week so I can answer any questions you might have about returning to school. I am really looking forward to seeing you! This week we begin our final topic for the year, all about minibeasts. You will will learning to name minibeasts and butterflies and go on lovely hunts to see if you can spot any in your garden or on your walks. The book this week is called 'The Cautious Caterpillar' and I thought you would enjoy talking about the different feelings in the story and also find out abut the life cycle of a butterfly. In Maths we will be revisiting doubling and then moving onto naming and describing 3-D shapes. I hope you have lots of fun this week and I look forward to receiving all your lovely home learning and messages.

Take care Penguins. With love from, Miss Swift
