I hope you are all well and keeping safe. I also hope that you are all enjoying learning about all the different plants and flowers and how to care for them. This is our final 'Grow your own' week and I have chosen a lovely picture book called 'The Tiny Seed' by Eric Carle which I am sure you will enjoy as much as me! We will continue learning about 'taking away' and this week we will be finding out about subtraction number patterns and finding the missing number in a calculation. To link in with our story book you will be learning about seed dispersal and carrying out another science experiment to see if seeds really do need water to germinate and grow well. There are some wonderful musical activities for you to try from the Hampshire Music team and the tasks this week are based around the theme of rainbows! Please continue to send me any learning you do at home. It is a pleasure and a delight to see what you have all been doing and I am constantly amazed with how clever you all are. I wish you all a wonderful week and I hope the home learning goes really well. Take care Penguins,
With love from, Miss Swift.
