I hope you are all well and enjoyed a relaxing and happy weekend. I have really enjoyed speaking to you all over the last couple of weeks and it was lovely to hear your voices once again. I am so impressed with all the wonderful learning happening at home and I look forward to receiving more photos and messages this week.
Here is the learning for week 10, I hope you enjoy it. It continues with our topic 'Grow your own' and is based around a lovely book called 'Oliver's vegetables' by Vivian French. The writing tasks encourage you to use different words to describe vegetables and then write a letter from Oliver to his Mum. In Maths we focus on Subtraction and you will use concrete resources, pictures and number lines to solve simple calculations. We continue to learn about growing plants and find out about the life cycle of a bean and if plants really do need sunlight to grow. I hope you enjoy the tasks for this week and have a great time. With love from, Miss Swift.
