Peace Poles

As part of a Diocese wide project, we have been designing and making a prototype for a peace pole this week.  Here is a youtube clip describing what they are:

Watch the video and look at the colours, images and words that work well on a peace pole.  Draw your ideas and doodles on paper before making decorating the net of a cuboid (uploaded before) as a 'prototype' for your peace pole.

We have bought some fence posts and are decorating them this week.  We will put a coat of primer/white paint on the post as a base coat before painting our designs on top.
