Creative and other activities: Week beginning 22nd June 2020
I would like you to put together your presentation about your chosen National Park this week. Include facts about your park such as location, size and how long it has been a national park as well as what activities there are to attract visitors, maps, images etc.
To prepare for your presentation, you could:
Use Powerpoint presentation including animations and slides that have been carefully thought through.
Create some art work to share that stems from your park - for example junk modelling of an animal that resides in the park, pictures created using a medium of your choice such as paint, crayons, pastels.
A poem that you might read out reflecting the mood of your park.
A musical piece using 'Incredibox'.
Or any other support materials you choose to add.
Remember, a presentation is not just about the content you have put together. It is how you speak to your audience, look at them and engage them :).
It would be amazing if you were able to share your presentations at the end of the week. We are doing the same presentations in class so I would be able to show yours to the class and, if I have permission from parents, I could share the Year 6 presentations (who are currently in school) with you via the website. So, if you are able, do send anything over by recording it and sending it to the Owls address. We would love to see anything you have created.
Good Luck and let me know if you need any help with anything at all,
