Sports Day - parents invited to the afternoon

What you need to know:

• The children should come to school in their PE kit with a named sun hat and named water bottle. They are invited to wear a t-shirt in their house colour, but this is not compulsory.
• There will be a special school menu for sports day - menu to be confirmed.
• There will be refreshments available throughout the day for the children - e.g. a water station, fruit snacks.
• The children will remain in their class groups on one side of the track and parents are invited to sit and spectate from the other side of the track.
• The use of photography and filming of your own child is permitted. We remind you that you do not have consent to post any other child''s image on social media platforms without prior parental consent.
• For safeguarding reasons, we politely request that parents do not try and join their child or encourage their child to join them during the track events. Thank you.
• We would also request that any younger siblings are supervised at all times and not allowed to join the children or wander onto the running track. Thank you.
• For health and safety reasons, the play equipment around school is strictly out of bounds. Thank you for your co-operation.

Order of Events:

9.30 - 11.30am - Interschool multi-sports hours team competition. Rotation of 8 sports for children and staff only.

11.45 - 12.45pm - Lunch

12.45 - Families arrive and make their way to the school field via the side gate by the hall. Please feel free to bring your own picnic / blanket or camping chair.

1.00 - 2.45pm Track Events

2.45 - 3.10pm - House winner announced

3.15pm Ice Cream Van available for families after school
