Penguins and Dolphins visit to Warsash

PENGUINS AND DOLPHINS VISIT TO WARSASH, SOUTHAMPTON

To support our Geography topic on “What makes Southampton special?” the children will be visiting Warsash and will be using fieldwork and mapping skills to find out about the features of a coastal locality.

We will be travelling by coach, leaving school at 9.00am and returning by the end of the school day.

Each child will need to bring a packed lunch and will need plenty of water in a shatterproof and leak proof container (no fizzy drinks please). The children will need to be in school uniform and will need footwear suitable for outdoor walking, e.g. trainers. No open-toed shoes please. Please also provide your child with a waterproof coat with hood and/or sun hat and sun cream depending on the weather.

In order to offer these sorts of activities, we rely on contributions from parents. We would therefore be grateful for a contribution of £10.00 per child to help towards the cost, which can be paid on-line via the Arbor app. Unfortunately, if we do not receive enough contributions, we may not be able to go ahead with this visit as the school does not have enough funds to subsidise these activities.

Please would you give your consent and make your contribution on the Arbor app by Wednesday 3rd June 2026.

Please note that we will use our current permissions for your child for photographs during this visit.
