Country Dancing Festival - Y1 and Y2
I am pleased to inform you that Year 1 and Year 2 pupils will be taking part in the Country Dancing Festival this year. It will be held at John Hanson School on Friday, 3rd July 2026.
Your child will require:- Plimsolls or Trainers,
- Hat and a Rainproof Coat,
- Girls - White Blouse or T-Shirt (skirt will be provided),
- Boys – School Shorts (black or grey) and a white Shirt or T-shirt
The children will have an early lunch and we will leave school at 12.30pm travelling by coach and return to school at 2.45pm. Parents are welcome to come and watch and further details will be available in due course. If you would like to help supervise the children, please let Mrs Wiggs know. The children will return to class for collection at 3.15pm or after school club as appropriate. Please give permission for your child to attend this event via the Arbor App by Wednesday 1st July 2026.
There is no cost to parents as the school is covering the cost of transport, entry fee and refreshments using the Sports Premium Grant but we do still need your permission.
